FDOT SS4 Toolbox ver 01.05.00 does not show up

Just completed a new install of MicroStation, GeoPak, and SS4 on a brand new Dell machine running Windows 10, ver 1709 os - 16299.214

I have restarted at the end of the installation of each program and configured the .NET Framework Security, but the red FDOT toolbar does not show up when I launch SS4 with or without GeoPak.

  • If no FDOT menu is appearing (and I believe we've changed the color of the FDOT menu for this release to silver rather than red) try this:

    Close FDOTSS4
    Locate the FDOTSS4 folder on your desktop and run Workspace Doctor
    Execute Workspace Doctor with all options selected
    Restart FDOTSS4 and see if that resolved the issue

    If not, try this:

    Close FDOTSS4
    Open Windows Files Explorer and go to C:\USERS\[username]\appdata\local\CadManage\CADPilot.UI\CACHE\
    Delete the contents of the CACHE folder
    Restart FDOTSS4 and see if that resolved the issue.
