Civil Elements changing to Default Level when Modified

Title says it all. If I modify my EOP lines, they switch to Default Level. I have been messing around in the Civil Standards to try and figure out why, but I don't see anywhere where the Civil Standards set the plan view level for the EOP lines.

Anyone have this issue and know how to fix it?

Thanks

  • This is still happening for me. Not always changing to Default. Sometimes other levels. Always annoying. Does anyone have any solution?

  • This happens to me occasionally as well.  When I set a feature on a line it changes everything correctly except the level.  When it doesn't work it sets it to the current active level instead.

The only way I have found to fix it is to run boxes 1,2 and 3 of the workspace doctor and restart Microstation.

I have never been able to fix the issue in the same Microstation session.

  • Yeah I pretty much Clear Crash and Clear Resources every time i exit Microstation because of this issue, but it doesnt always fix the problem for me. And the fact that it just shows up at random can make it difficult to catch. My big fear is this happens sometime right before a submittal and it messes up my submitted pdf.
