A couple of our users are having issues with the icons on the ORD ribbon not displaying. You have to go over them with the mouse to see them.
We both have Alienware X15 R1 laptops, 11th Gen Intel Core i-7-11800H @ 2.30 GHz, 32GB of RAM, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
Any ideas?
Make sure you're using the latest Studio version of the GeForce 3070 display drivers. Additionally, try checking the DirectX version and any settings within the Nvidia control panel that may affect how DirectX is used by ORD. 3070 is a fairly new GPU and may not have good display drivers for ORD/Bentley. If that's the case, Nvidia control panel will let you toggle between the 3070 and the integrated GPU if applicable. This thread speaks to that more. Hi Shawn,
Thank you for answering my question and for the instructions.
I downloaded the latest Studio version of the GeForce 3070 display driver. Running version 30.0.14.7239 now.
I checked the DirectX version and I have DirectX 12 installed. I also changed the Global Settings within the Nvidia control panel to "Integrated Graphics" and added the Open Roads Designer (ORD/Bentley) with "NVIDIA processor" as the preferred graphics processor.
However, I am still having the display issue in ORD/Bentley.
Any other ideas?
