Cross Section Annotations

Hi there,

I was wondering if there is a way to tweak XS Annotation Groups so that my slope label comes out as a ratio? I know it picks up the even ratios (like 1:2, 1:3, 1:4, etc.). Is there a way to label the slope as an uneven ratio, say 1:3.6?

Thank you in advance!

  • Hi Kristina,

This setting is controlled by the Text Favorites. In this case, it's either FDOT_Text Favorites_Text Styles_Dimension Styles.dgnlib/Workspace Annotation/Cross Section/XS Left Slope Annotation or FDOT_Text Favorites_Text Styles_Dimension Styles.dgnlib/Workspace Annotation/Cross Section/XS Right Slope Annotation that you are looking to edit. Keep in mind, that editing this at the WorkSpace level will affect ALL future annotations. If you just need this for one DGN in particular, it would be recommended to copy the Text Favorite live into that file and edit it there. You will need to point your Annotation Definitions in the DGN file to use that local Text Favorite instead of the default in the WorkSpace.

Here is the Text Favorite setting you're looking to tweak:
