Geopak Quantities

Is there a way to add a dtm or tin file from the surveyor to existing x-sections to get the earthwork quantities?

  • You can use the Draw Cross Section tool to draw the new surveyed ground into preexisting cross sections as either a DTM or TIN.  Getting the earthwork quantities is another matter.  The Earthwork tool is very particular about the elements connecting exactly.  Potentially, there could be a lot of hand work to make all the elements connect.  I do not know of any easy way to get earthwork quantities.  I will continue to look for a solution.  You can give me a call to discuss.
