Is there a way to limit the size of the .pdf file created when using the FDOTPDF.pltcfg plot driver, e.g., can I change the print quality to 300 dpi? We print rasters and the plot files tend to get large.

The default settings in the Color_FDOTPDF.pltcfg file is set at 600 DPI. you can edit this file in the plot dialog under File>Edit Print Driver. You will find the settings under the Advanced settings.
