I can usually get the deductions to work by following Denise's post here:

For some reason, i cannot get these deductions to work. This is an older job that was probably started in an older version of FDOT, but I created a new file and loaded all the drainage structures fresh into this new file and then attached that to my file where I was doing my computation.
I was doing my computation in the QTSRD01 because I wanted to draw some shapes to enclose specific parts of the project. The deductions were not working in here. I decided to see if it would work if I tried in the DSGNRD01 where the actually curb lines were drawn. That did not work either.
Please let me know if there is a solution.
