Error Placing Guardrail Summary Data

I need a little more information.  Which tool are you using to import the information into MicroStation?  LDM or the old VBA?

I am using the old VBA from the Bar Menu Roadway->Summary Boxes->Guardrail.

Most likely the file you are trying to import is not open.  That VBA is a picky tool.  The file name must be exact, the file must be open and the spreadsheet you are importing from the file has to be the first one.  Make sure that the file is still sbgdrl.xls and that it is open.  If you still encounter problems, you can give me a call.  My number is 850-245-1607.  

On another note, I recommend using Linked Data Manager.  At this point, all summary boxes should be created using the new templates provided in FDOTSS2.  I understand you are still using FDOT2010.  I can help get you set up with the new tool and templates to work with FDOT2010.
