This forum has been created to serve as a focal point for comments, suggestions, questions and more about Maryland DOT, SHA 's MicroStation/InRoads/Open Roads Workspaces and Tools.

As of Nov. 14, 2019, the current MDOT SHA workspace is V 2.01.03. This workspace includes two distinct CAD Standards:

SHA_V8_01 which is an up to date version of our original V8 workspace, suitable for use with InRoads V8i (SELECTseries 2) and all current V8 projects.
SHA_V8_02 which is a natural evolution of our earlier workspace that was created to work with InRoads V8i (SELECTseries 4) with Open Roads Technology.

The SHA_V8_02 workspace was created to allow inclusion of many MicroStation features that could not added to our original V8 workspace without causing issues with existing projects. This workspace includes the full implementation of Drawing Scales, Sheet Models with Sheet Border Reference Files, NCS compliant Level Names, ByLevel Symbologies, Element Templates and more.
