Will OHDOT workspace have roundabout civil cells in the near future? A lot of the online videos regarding how to do roundabouts in ORD rely heavily on the civil cells and they're usually the civil cells delivered with the default Bentley workspace. Is there a suggested method of going about the roundabout modeling in OHDOT in the interim?
at this time we are not working on civil cells for roundabouts. we are planning on having some documentation/exercise/videos on modeling roundabouts.

Any update on roundabouts?

Larry,
It's still on our to-do list to create documentation, exercises, videos, etc... Is there something specific you're looking for?
There are a lot of resources available, below are just a few that might point you in the direction you're looking for.
Much of roundabout modeling you'll probably find the "site" modeling approach works best. You could refer to https://learn.bentley.com/ training resources for intersection modeling, a lot of the same techniques would apply.
These are a few presentations I've referred to:
A Bentley UK SIG: 2021-01 (January) SIG Workshop – OpenRoads for the UK: Roundabout Design (bentley.com)
GLBUG Webinar: GLBUG January 2020 Webinar - Modeling a Roundabout - YouTube
FDOT/Kimley Horn Webinars: 2D Roundabout Design with Open Roads Technology - YouTube, 3D Roundabout Modeling - YouTube
If you want to go the civil cell route, you could start here:
Video: Demonstration of Roundabouts Civil Cells - OpenRoads | OpenSite Wiki - OpenRoads | OpenSite - Bentley Communities,
Video: How to place the Roundabout Approach (Basic) Civil Cell - OpenRoads | OpenSite Wiki - OpenRoads | OpenSite - Bentley Communities
I hope that helps.

We have a few roundabout jobs coming up
