OHDOT Sheet Manager-Deleted Sheets Populating

Is there a way to prevent deleted sheets from populating inside sheet manager? For example, I created cross-sections within a file, deleted them (both sheet and drawing models), edited my named boundaries, and generated new cross-sections. However, whenever I open OHDOT sheet manager the sheet models that I have deleted are still populating along with the new ones. This makes for a very long list of sheet models to sort through.

  • Joe,

the sheet manager is simply searching through all dgns within a Sheets folder (include subfolders within a sheets folder) it then looks through all the models and finds any element that has one of the OHDOT sheet item types attached to it. each instance is what makes a sheet show up in the list. if it finds more then one Item type instance in a single model then that model is omitted (noted in the results section at the bottom)
that is it. if your sheets are showing up multiple times then it must still exist some where. export out to excel and look at each line it will have you the file name and the model name. Then you can go from there in removing the extra sheets.

  • John,

In retrospect I believe I have other cross-section files that I haven't deleted that have sheet models contained within. I didn't notice because sheet names are very similar across both. I'll try to make a habit of exporting to excel and sorting by the file name.
