Yes, the fonts are too big. Wayne provides some of the explanation, but we are going to fix that. No ETA at this time, but it is something we are going to address (we have dropped the size of the forum thread list some, so that should help in the meantime).

AFAIK it's elementary nowadays for websites to present differently, auto-detecting whether it's being viewed on a phone, tablet or monitor.

My webmaster lectures me on the importance of 'think smartphone' - then says no prob - in Joomla we can make pages present very differently, according to the viewing screen format detected - 960x640, 1024x768, monster monitor, and whether portrait or landscape.
Surely hi-tech BeCommunities can be with the times and do at least as good as humble Joomla?
