How do I get to the 'last post' in a thread?

How do I get to the 'last post' in a thread as this seems to have been removed now?

Yeah I'm missing this- one of the things I used most.

Wouldn't mind a little button next to suggested answer and replies number to get me there

Can we get this re-enabled? We are now back to having to scroll through (in some cases) pages of posts. Mind you it's still not good in short threads as all thread links seem to take you to the first post.

On other, quite primitive forums, the 'latest' button takes me by default not to the very last post but to to the most recent post that I've previously viewed, so I can continue on from there.

There really must be reinstatement of ability to go direct to 'latest post', incl if that's at end of a 2nd/3rd page in v long topics. Surely, simple as making the date/time of latest post, on R, into a live link?

Didn't anyone in your testing ask for this? Seems like the developers of the program missed a very obvious requirement.

To answer your specific question... no one in the usability labs or in testing brought this up, which quite possibly could be because there is so much functionality in the Communities platform that it never really surfaced.

Note that if you get forum posts in email, when you click the "View online" link, it DOES bring you to that specific post in the thread.

What other functionality takes you to the last post as I'm not seeing it?

BTW the online link from the email doesn't take you to the last post as I have just tested with your response!

Apologies for not being clearer... "other functionality" meaning all the new-and-improved with the new community platform being used.

Hmmm... that is interesting, because it works every time I do this:

That's in recent versions of Firefox or Chrome or IE with Outlook as the email client. If that is not working for you, then details about your particular setup might help identify what is preventing that from happening.

As a follow-up to this, in the Forum - Thread List, the time/date on the right side of each thread is now a link that takes you to the end of that thread. So, the thread subject takes you to the start, the time/date in the right side takes you to the end of the thread.
