Logging in takes me to the Home page

All, The log in issue is currently being developed. Hoping to have it implemented by the end of August. Thank you for the feedback. I will be looking into all of them.

When Be Communiteis was initially launched, the login process was sweet and simple.  It behaved like most sites that require a login.

This behaviour has changed over the years.  A little while after the Be Communities was started, the login process demanded an additional modal dialog to confirm the acceptance (maybe that was FireFox, but read on).  In February 2017 that requirement vanished, to my glee.  But with this weekend's update (08-Jul-17) the additional modal dialog has returned.

I also note that my signature has vanished.

Was this weekend's work really an enhancement?

Hello Jon,

Could you provide a screenshot of the "additional modal dialog"? There should be no change to the sign-in process. 

Also, I am not seeing the GUID showing when replying to Brian's post. Can you provide a screenshot of that as well?

First, my bookmarked page is the MicroStation Forum

Second, I click my blank avator to initiate log-in

Third, having successfully logged-in I see this warning

Finally, I am taken to the Welcome page.  I am not returned to my initial bookmarked page

It happens when replying and quoting from the previous post's text.  The generated code is [ quote user="BB02554E-25ED-4EDF-B2F3-5503F54C483B"]something that Jesse Dringoli wrote[/quote] rather than [ quote user="Jesse Dringoli"] as it used to be.

Thanks Jon, I see the issue with quoting and we'll look into that. Regarding the additional dialog, I cannot reproduce that in Internet Explorer or Chrome. I do not currently have Firefox installed. We'll look into this as well.

Regarding your signature, I am seeing it on my end. It shows up in your member profile and I see it in your replies. Can you check and confirm?

Seems to be not good idea to ignore and not test (still) 3rd the most popular (even with a few percents) browser on destop.
