Editor does not support VBA syntax highlighting (and don't display inserted content)

Hi,

after the upgrade, in the new editor Syntaxhighlighter tool was replaced by "Insert Code" command.

It seems it offers less functionality than the previous version:

  • It's not possible to colorize VBA as it was possible in the past. In my opinion this is a serious disadvantage, because VBA is integral part of many Bentley products, so to share VBA code snippets is used very often. VBA (in general any) code displayed as text is far less readable. Can be VBA (or VB.NET is enough) brush added?
  • When a code is inserted, it's not displayed in the editor, only in preview. It's not critical bug, but it's annoying to insert code and to don't see it (and big ugly sign displayed instead of it).

With regards,

  Jan
