horrible interface

The entire web site is too wasteful of screen space.  The focus needs to be on the articles, not on the interface.  At this very moment, I see a full 3 inches of my 24" monitor wasted at the top of the browser window.

  • Hi Robert - Could you try pushing CTRL-F5 to refresh your cache and see if that improves things any?

  • Duncan: yes, I have already done that.  Before, there was 6 inches wasted.  It is still a HORRID waste of space. Here's another example: As I am typing this reply, you have allotted me a total of 1" in which to type.  Really?  My task at this moment is typing a reply, which needs to be front and center, not admiring the new interface. See image below, which is a full screen capture.  All the header stuff is excessive and this is one of the better screens, tons of wasted space on the sides.  When I am reading a message then the message area is OK, but when I start a reply I have a super stingy work area.

  • Robert,

Thanks for the feedback. First: Please make sure your cursor is at the top. Sometimes it puts it down some in the response area. Second: We have increased the width of the display area and decreased the white space in half.

Also, if you scroll down some you will see you have a larger response area.

We are working every day at shrinking the white space even further. Sorry for the frustration, We appreciate your thoughts and will continue to work on them. They are very legitimate. We are listening so please keep them coming, and apologies for any inconvenience this is causing.

    Thanks,
