Can't reply to posts using Chrome Version 60.0.3112.78 (Official Build) (64-bit)

I have not been replying to posts for awhile now. Today I was trying to reply to some posts using Chrome Browser. When I click on reply my avatar is displayed but there is no dialog box to type in. I've been using IE today so I am able to post topics & reply to posts. What's up with that? Anyone else seeing this problem?

Chrome Version 60.0.3112.78 (Official Build) (64-bit)

  • Hello mwlong,

From your description, it sounds like you may have encountered the problem shown in item #1 of the known issues sticky post on the top of this forum. Please try pressing CTRL+F5 to refresh browser cache and let us know if that works. Apologies for the inconvenience.

  • Hello mwlong,

I received your private message stating that you have tried CTRL+F5 but the problem persists. Are you certain that the control key is pressed while pressing F5? Some laptop keyboards have a function lock that might need to be toggled. I also assume that you are signed in. If this does not help, can you provide a screenshot showing the issue?

  • Well, I am on a PC not a laptop. From my home PC now I had to reinstall Chrome as it was causing some problems. Now I can reply to this post. I will need to try to post from my work pc and see if it works there tomorrow. I may need to reinstall there also.
