99+ notifications wont go to a 100!!

I have 99+ notifications which wont go passed 100. Why?

More to the point how do I remove these in one go, which having to go through them one by one?

    The 99+ indicator is working entirely as designed. It becomes a bit of a moot point whether you have 99 or 101 notifications. So 99+ is fine.

    As to marking them as read, the functionality is still available, but only as a hover over. Please play the video below.
