If I add a comment to a users blog............

The content that gets included in the Activity stream is controlled by what you have selected in your Settings (hover over your avatar > Settings). Under the Options tab, scroll down and you'll see check boxes in the Activity Visibility section for different types of content. Comments are not included here which I believe means that they are not included in activity streams. I will confirm and get back to you.

In the meantime, if you wish to get notifications for further comments on a blog that you commented on, ensure that the box is checked for "Comments on content that I comment on " under the Notifications tab of your member Settings.

You can also navigate to and subscribe to the blog post via the "More" button on the right side.

Hello Stuart, I have confirmed that comments are currently not individually included in an Activity Stream. Instead, they are shown as part of the content itself (the blog post). So, if the blog post itself is in the activity stream, the comment should show. See my previous post for other thoughts.
