What is this, which appears when I hover over the black icon in the top left of the screen? Have never seen this before.
Hi Stuart, that is the moderation queue, for approving/denying potential abusive posts. The appearance of that black icon can depended on the community that you are looking at, for example if you are a member of a particular community which enables certain permissions. Which Community were you looking at when you saw this?

It appears on every Forum page I try, as well as my Home page.
