It appears that the ability to comment on blogs has been stopped. Is there a reason for this?
As an example see https://communities.bentley.com/products/microstation/b/microstation_blog/posts/the-explorer-part-three-the-items-tab which doesn't have the comment section at the bottom!
If you have comments regarding the content of the blogs or wikis please share them with the community members on the forum as a question or discussion thread and quote a wiki or blog.
It is a much better channel to enter into a conversation with other community members. Forums are constantly being monitored and the chances of missing your comment or your question being overlooked are far less likely to happen.
Thanks but the point is that you use to be able to comment on the blog directly. Why the change?
Jesse Dringoli said:This was changed because of the reasons Aleksander pointed out - we recognized that Comments were being used to start discussions and ask questions, which often went unnoticed by those would could address them.
I agree. Personally I dislike old (but still valid) blogs followed by much newer questions, sometimes even not relevant to the blog main topic.

That may be so but why have a banner at the top of the blog saying 'Questions about this blob, click here'? If they don't want questions remove the banner. If they do then they should expect them. At the moment it's just plain rude!!
We (Bentley) encourage questions and discussions, but in order to ensure that they come to our attention (and other users willing to help), the questions should be posted to the Forum. The green banner at the top of the blog is a link to the respective Forum.

Which is good but no use if you don't respond!
If you see a case where a technical question on a Forum does not get a timely answer, please let me know and I will look into it.
