&lt;p&gt;Notepad is not good, because it has not spellchecker ;-)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Personally when I know my answer will be long or will require several versions, I usually use OneNote (that I use daily anyway) or Word.&lt;/p&gt;
