Hi,
recently I realized (I guess it was not issue few days ago) that a date, when a post was created, is always displayed in US format month/date/year, regardless in my profile I have day-month-year format set.
BTW Why it's not allowed to use Europen date format day.month.year?
With regards,
Jan
Hi Jan, this was a recent change due to some issues with the hover-over that was previously available in order to check the exact date. I'll look into this, and also whether the replies can also be changed to show the date/time, and respect the date/time format.

Jan, this should now be resolved. Please confirm that the date/time now follows your selected profile setting. The date/time is also now shown in the replies.

Hi Jan, thanks for confirming. About adding the dd.mm.yyyy format; I will look into this.
Update: it looks like this should be possible to add the new date format. We're working on it and will let you know when it is available.
Hi Jan, the day.month.year format is now available in the profile Settings Date Format dropdown, Please confirm that it works for you.
That's great, thanks a lot!
I am sure it will by appreciated by many European users. Maybe some announcement to spread this enhancement would help :-)

You're quite welcome. Thank YOU for the feedback that made this happen. Regarding an announcement; we will discuss internally on possible methods to reach everyone. I'm not certain this warrants a site-wide heading banner-type announcement.
