Allowed file formats

Below is the list of allowed file extensions for direct attachment to a forum post. I have not made any changes to this recently that I can recall. If unsure, it is best to compress your files into a .ZIP. If you cannot use the .ZIP format or if the file is too large (the limit is currently set to 5 MB for forums), and you need to share it with Bentley Support, you can use the secure Sharefile upload method.

First, the global white list of allowed file types is considered:

This is further limited by the application-specific allowed file types. For Forums, it is currently:

List is missing pZIP(Microstation packager)  format. It was available previously.

Hi Oto, ok, I have added pzip to the whitelist of file types that can be directly embedded on a post.
