The thread MicroStation Select For Beginners was moved to LEARN Communities - Forum.
So I wanted to check out that thread, but discovered that neither of the links take me to an actual active page. Did the post get moved then deleted? Was that whole forum made inactive? If I do a search in communities by the thread title I can see the body of the thread in the results, but neither link still works from the search result.

Sorry for the delay in response. The "LEARN Communities - Forum" has been disabled, but was visible to the moderator who accidentally moved your post there. This is why you were not able to see it after it was moved, and why nobody else could see it.
The thread you mentioned in your post however, is currently in the valid, Bentley Institute Forum: MicroStation Select For Beginners
I noticed it was posted by someone else though - Fraser Gillespie. Do you still need assistance with MicroStation training? If so, it may be best to post on the MicroStation forum. I can also make sure that someone contacts you with the information you need. Generally speaking our training is available on learn.bentley.com.

Ah, Thank you Jesse that answers the questions regarding the Learn Communities Forum.
I don't think I need any more help at this time. The thread wasn't really what I was thinking it was. He was just looking for help on Microstation as it turns out. I was hoping to find more information on the actual Select Server and any of its features that I may not be aware of specifically in the area of Usage reports and misc other administrative type items.
I guess I will admit that I am not familiar at all with Microstation (Select Edition) we skipped over that I believe and went from XM to V8i or from J to XM whenever it was, I had pretty much forgotten about it. Curious that someone still wants to use it.
You're welcome. SELECTserver is the older licensing method used by V8 XM and V8i-generation products. Our latest versions use the new Subscription Entitlement Service (SES) for licensing, which is different from SELECTserver.
