Hello Bentley,
how is it, that I can not retrieve all of my own posts by using the search engine of the site?
Why can´t I get helpful results searching for tags?
May be something like OpenCalais (http://www.opencalais.com/about) could help? However, help us!
For all those, encountering similar problems:
Try these google search commands:
"Tagname site:http://communities.bentley.com" or
"Username site:http://communities.bentley.com"
This will give you much better results than using the build in search engine.

I have also found using Google Site Search is a good way of locating threads. I have a problem locating threads I authored vs. ones to which I replied as I stated in this thread
Phil Chouinard:Thanks for the feedback. We are aware that there are a few issues with search, and we are definitely looking to improve that. Using Google is one way to find things, as well as others.
Why use google? The forum search should be made so that you can search subject, thread, post and date. You don't want this place to end up like a Rockwell site.
The only reason I would not want to use Google is that some portions of the site require membership to access which prevents the Google bots from indexing these areas. As I stated in this thread, I often create RoboForm SearchCards for the sites I search often.
