If you have customized your "home page", then any subsequent change to that at a site level will not be seen. I don't really know of a "good way" around that. So, you should try going into that widget and making the same change we did (likely AFTER you started customizing your home page). Change the Activity List Mode to "Dashboard..." You might also want to change the tabs displayed, too (that default was just changed to split out People and Groups and add an ALL tab.)

Ideally I would like to see two tiers of tabs / filters to control this "SITE ACTIVITY" widget for Subscribed or Favorites:

First tier:
All, Blog, Forums, Groups, Media & Wiki

Second tier:
All, Recent, Unanswered, Unread & Your Discussions

If I had this type of control I think I could easilly filter and quickly access most of the content I need for the site.

That is a good question... all the testing that we have done so far indicates this is working fine. So additional details (i.e. did you customize your homepage, etc.) would be good to know to help us try to figure out why you are not seeing what we are.

I've removed the tags list from the home page, that's all. If I revert to the defaut settings it appears to work!!

BTW it doesn't work with Firefox which I haven't touched. I'm using Firefox, not signed in, to see the new activity.

Edit. I reverted back to default, logged out and then in again. I then removed the tags list using cutomise, and the activity is still showing. All appears to be OK. I guess it was the tags widgit that was causing the proble. Thanks for bearing with me:-)

Assuming we get a scenario that reproduces what you are seeing, then we can provide suggestions, ideas, etc.

Just tried this at home and I'm still not seeing any listings on the Home page when logged in!!

Is it just me who doesn't have this working? When is it going to be fixed?

Stuart,

The "SITE ACTIVITY" or "Activity Message List" widget on the home page is not working at all. If you use the "MY STUFF" widget you should see your own activity displaying. I am not sure about the "RSS Feed" widget or other dynamic tools.

Done that and deleted cookies and temp internet files, and it still doesn't show - in either IE7 or Chrome.

You might want to try refreshing your browser window (usually F5). We tested this earlier and that seemed to be the only thing needed if that was not showing anything.

Just noticed that if I log in from Chrome all the Activity disappears as well.

Am I the only one seeing this?
