I entered "glued to base plane" in the search because I wanted to find this thread

Why?
The inclusion of the word "to" is causing no results. If you remove that and just use
glued base plane
like this, the first link in the result should be the community forum thread you are looking for.
BTW, the mention of this has been added to the How do I find stuff? blog article.

If that rule kicks in I suggest a message is displayed when "forbidden" words are used.
