Glitches:
Maybe some of these will come under known issues, but I have noticed in my time with the forums that:
Hopefully this is the correct place to submit issues like this. Please let me know if I should follow an alternative procedure.
Requests:
Thanks.
EDIT: I notice that perhaps something similar to the requests above are appearing in this specific forum (nice work!), but it not yet manifesting in the Hydraulics and Hydrology forum. I'm going to guess that this is perhaps something in testing to be rolled out to other forums later?
For #1, that has been brought up previously, but recently has been fairly rare (in fact, I have not seen it in a long time). That said, this will be looked into... thanks for pointing it out.
For the points and rankings inquiries (#2-#4) , the Demystifying Member Points and Post Rankings blog article might be helpful in clarifing that.
WRT #5, we made a conscious decision to not put Bentley and SELECTsupport "tags" on the same member profile. The latter assumes the former, so having both of them (at least in the profile) seemed redundant. True, this is not consistent with the fly-outs, but given that the profiles are more visible (i.e. no action by the reading member is needed to see them), we felt that keeping things simple was the way to go. Now why not do the same with BeMVPs? Simply because BeMVPs can be Bentley colleagues or not Bentley colleagues. We also did not want to set a precedent (at least not from the start) of having a "tag" for every "type" of member (e.g. SELECT, Academic, Bentley Technology Partner, Bentley Channel Partner, Bentley Content Partner, etc., etc., etc.) We did something like that at a user event many years ago with "ribbon tags" on name badges and although it did raise visibility, it became more of a distraction.
Regarding #6, the profile is currently manually populated. That will be updated for you. This should become less of an issue when single sign-on across all Bentley Web properties is put in place (no ETA for that right now, but it is an active project).
AFA #7 is concerned, that is not the first time that has been pointed out. We have been trying to figure out how to "control" that -- it seems to be a limitation in the system being used to host the site (not pointing fingers by any means, but we rely on another software vendor for that).
For the "requests", that has been brought up before, too, the Answers to threads are not stacked by time of posting thread in this community forum provides a lengthy "discussion" regarding this.

Weird; somehow my reply to your post Phil is appearing in a different order to what I am used to on the H&H forums. I'm going to mark your reply as answering my question. From other forums that I am used to this will show as a green tick (or similar) on the main forum page (so its clear the question was answered, versus a regular open discussion topic). Is that what we intend to do for ours?
Yes, I see the tick; nice work. Excellent.
Is it just for me that this thread is looking all out of order?
Wayne.
The order is strange because you started a Q&A thread instead of the Discussion (I think) choice.

Yes, that is explained in one of the comments in the blog article that was referenced (and also in the thread that was mentioned, too).
