What's new in the December 2022 update of Bentley Communities?

Bentley Communities will be upgrading to Version 12.1 in December 2022. This update will include new features for all community users and notable enhancements for Site Administrators, Community Owners, and Contributors.

• Core Mentions – Users are now able to avail of ‘mentions’ to associate their text with keywords. Suggestions for available tags are presented to you as you type. For example, when you reply to a forum thread, the participants in the thread are suggested as soon as you type the @ sign.
• Peekable Content – By hovering over interactive links, users will be able to preview content via a preview box.
• Article Collections and Articles – Content authors have access to a new multifunctional application for authoring a wide range of content. Authors can create articles, FAQ pages, or alerts for example. It is now also possible to assign a category to each workflow.
• Helpful Feedback – Users can provide positive or negative feedback to help maintain article relevance. Negative feedback is customizable, reviewable, and actionable.
• Embeddables – Contributors can apply dynamic markup to supported types of content including, for example, block quotes and tips.
