Bentley Institute Product Training Partner Summit 2020 – Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

                      

                                                                     

At the onset of 2020, Bentley Institute organized the PRODUCT TRAINING PARTNER SUMMIT 2020 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on Thursday, January 16, 2020.

The objective of the summit was to create a platform to appraise the Product Training Partners about Bentley’s vision, upcoming plans, current industry trends and opportunities to enable Bentley Institute and its stakeholders to align their growth paths.

An upsurge of excitement and commitment from the partners resulted in a total of 57 attendees from 31 organizations. The day before the summit was full of fun as we hosted a dinner for the participants, which was well appreciated and helped everyone connect and network in an informal environment.

The summit day opened with a strong and effective virtual address (recorded) from Santanu Das ( SVP, Design Integration at Bentley Systems) who emphasized how our training partner community can collaborate, connect and lead the way for going digital with Bentley.

Phil Christensen (SVP, Business Development, Digital Cities at Bentley Systems) presented the keynote at the summit, and he emphasized iTwin, iModel services, and CDE offerings from Bentley and opportunities that lie ahead.

Rishabh Tandon (Senior Manager, Training Partner Program at Bentley Systems) highlighted the achievement, new opportunities available, emphasized some of the value adds in the program. He also presented on the upcoming changes like the Qualified Trainer campaign which would be the first step towards PAG-Sales alignment with the training Partner program.

The second half of the summit focused on information sharing and technical capacity building sessions which included presentations from Maylen Lee (Civil), Orvan Fajardo (Buildings) and Madhan Elumalai (Structural). They did not only get the participants engaged but also made the partners acclaim the enhancements, showcasing user success stories, and product capabilities. Towards, the end of the summit, we celebrated the efforts of our global partners by recognition awards to a few partners who gave commendable performances in their regions.

The summit concluded with a video message from Vinayak Trivedi (VP and Global Head at Bentley Institute), who enlisted the various support measures being taken to scale up product training partner business and to make it a winning proposition for Bentley Institute, Product Training Partner, and users.
