We are announcing the retirement of the Bentley Learn iPad App.
The Bentley Learn iPad app is an iOS application that allows you to view on-demand video content from the Bentley Learn Server on an iPad device. The user can view the videos directly in “online” mode, or they can choose to download the video to their iOS device and view them "offline".
The Bentley Learn iPad App usage is comprised of a very small percentage of Bentley's overall learners. We are making a business decision to discontinue the upkeep and development of the app due to low usage numbers.
What will happen?
On November 30th, 2017, Bentley will cease support for the Bentley Learn iPad app, version 05.00.01, released on October 17, 2014. If you already have the Bentley Learn App installed on your iPad, it will continue to work (on iOS 10 or earlier versions) until you deactivate it or we kick off a formal End Of Life process for existing users.
What should I do instead?
This is a great opportunity to use some of the new learning options made available by Bentley. Recent trends show the increase in "just in time" learning, instead of hours of traditional, formal training. With that we introduce CONNECT Advisor.
