New Blended Learning MicroStation Essentials Basics Course from the Bentley Institute

As showcased in the Bentley LEARN Leadership Council, the Bentley Institute would like to introduce a new MicroStation Essentials Basics Blended Learning course.

Why Blended Learning?

We understand that everyone learns differently.  And you asked for this type of course, so we listened!

This blended learning course is designed to teach a 2D production drafter how to use MicroStation software to create quality designs. In this course, you will learn to use MicroStation’s tools and features to create designs, manipulate and modify elements, assemble data, and create printed output.

Students registering for this LIVE instructor-led course will view a daily series of video lectures prior to the afternoon session times indicated in this offering. These lectures can be found in the "On-Demand" section of the Learning Path under the course title "MicroStation Essentials Basics Blended Learning". Students are expected to watch the named day videos prior to attending the LIVE portion each day of this class.

Total class time is 16 hours:

  • 8 hours of video lectures, watched by students before class.
  • 8 hours of virtual classroom work (completing exercises) with a live instructor (over the web).

The 8 hours of classroom work is broken up into 2 hours per day – Monday through Thursday.

This course is being offered:

October 22-25, 2012

October 29-November 1, 2012

November 5-8, 2012

  • You are 100% correct! We have been asking for this type of blended learning because we know people have short attention spans and we all learn differently. It has worked for us here at HATCH and we continue to support this effort by mentoring the Faculty from the largest Technical College in the Toronto area using these blended learning tools. We now know you were listening!
