It’s been an action-packed year at the 2015 Bentley LEARNing Conferences, which kicked off introducing new training for our CONNECT Edition software. We brought the best of Bridge, Substation & Utilities, and GIS & Mapping to Indianapolis, shipped hands-on ProjectWise and AssetWise sessions—and our ProjectWise team—to Seattle, and gave New Orleans the scoop on what’s what in Building, Plant, Structural, and Water. All 3 locations got the full rundown on Road and Site with MicroStation & ProjectWise, too.
Following the shift a year ago from our former annual user conference, Be Together, each of the LEARNing Conferences have morphed into a social learning affair, with more targeted training, instructors, and close-knit communities than ever before. Although our 3 big conferences may wind down being remembered as Bentley’s largest in-person training and networking events of the year, we think the learning is only just beginning—and you should seriously consider getting ready for 2016.

It’s no surprise: every attendee had a favorite trainer—someone they looked to for advice, refreshing perspectives, and inspiration. That’s why our agenda welcomed 83 unique Bentley colleagues, each having their own skill-sets and areas of expertise. Users had the opportunity to work with them one-on-one in a workshop setting, gather their thoughts and insights during informative lecture sessions, and chat casually with them about the latest product and industry news during each event’s social dinner.
Also new to the lineup this year was our ‘Ask an Expert’ LEARNing zone, where users could stop by and discuss whatever was on their mind (yes, anything), including organization-specific topics. Stay tuned for more of these coming in the near future, at future conferences and online!
Although the Bentley LEARNing Conferences have refocused on in-person social learning, we haven’t forgotten those who couldn’t attend.
