Does anyone else experience crazy wait times for the Learn Server to load just a list of tutorials? It's quite brutal to try to move through training when 75% of the time is spent waiting for a list to load. This is not an exaggeration. Total tutorial times are shown can be done in a few hours but will take all day because of watching the list of videos page to load. With technology today, and what I have seen from other software training sites, there has to be another way to make this more user friendly.
Just beginning with launching the video in another tab vs the same tab and losing the list of videos that you just spent 5 minutes to watch load.
Trust me, I already tried opening a second browser to start the list loading while watching a video. The lists of videos never load while the other browser already running.
I saw another user post "how does Bentley expect people to use this?" I agree. The efficiency is so low that it is truly seen as a waste of time, my group does not want to use it and we cant spend that much time away from projects. I would go so far as calling it a risk by this incredible wait time and risking the video not even cover what you need.
Is Bentley having any conversations about the issues with Bentley Learn Server taking forever to load just the list of videos? I'm sure it would be used more if it wasn't an unnecessary time hog.
We are working on a long term solution to revamp the platform entirely to counter this issue. In the interim, if you have a specific course that you are having an issue with you can let us know. When you watch a video the remaining videos of that course are listed as related videos at the bottom of the screen, this may help you to easily navigate from one video to another. Also, you may find that it works better for you on Microsoft Edge.
For me the Bentley Learn service is useless due to the lack of response.
It used to be somewhat usable, but as of late I get no response. Just the loading spin is all I ever get anymore. I've let the thing spin for 45 minutes before stopping it. Doesn't matter what browser I use, or what computer I use (home or work). Same thing every time.
Maybe if we all demanded refunds on our Bentley Learn subscriptions something might get done.
Why should we be paying for a service we can't access?

Hi,I can confirm all of your statements and I also believe that this is not acceptable. We have new employees, for which this learning portal could be a very helpful source, but unfortunately not useful.Too bad.
We are aware of the issue with LEARNserver being slow and apologize for the inconvenience. If you have a link to the course that you are having an issue with you can raise a Service Request so that we can investigate it further.

the problem is that a combination of the slowness (which has been reported many times from the server release many years ago) and not functional searching (in context of today search and indexing technology, Bentley LEARN does not offer any searching), it's nearly impossible to find what is available and to have link to a training.

Thank you for your feedback. We know the search functionality is lacking in LEARN and we are working on a long term solution to address these concerns.
