What happened to Ask the Experts? Sheila M posted a link to Ask the Experts: Generating Advanced Reports in MicroStation CONNECT Edition but that link leads nowhere.
I've searched Bentley.com and Bentley Learn but can find nothing (as is often the case, a search of the Bentley website is tediously useless). Are there no experts at Bentley, or have their articles been moved to the bit-bin of purgatory?
I recommend to move your post to Bentley Institute forum.

I guess it's the result of removing functional Bentley Event calendar (that included a list of recorded videos) with dysfunctional, poor UX based user aggressive very slow "like to be a calendar" hosted on on24.com service.
I have no idea what happened with already existing recordings, but Bentley LEARN server does not offer any usable searching and also to find anything on on24.com in OnDemand section is time wasting effort leading to confusion and depression only.

I Apologize that the link previously supplied no longer works, as Jan mentioned the Bentley Event calendar has been retired.
I have located a course on the LEARN server that covers the content originally requested. (The 2nd Video demonstrates X,Y, Z end points of lines)
This course is not the Generating Advanced Reports which was 1 hour duration, this course is more targeted to the user question (2 videos of 11 mins each).
This content can be found in the course shown below and additionally, searching for ‘SIG’ in CONNECT Advisor will also present various options.
Reporting on DGN Elements in MicroStation CONNECT Edition
In this video, we will create a linear feature, a silt fence, drawn on a specific level, in our main design file.
Then we need to quantify that fence. A report will be created that will look for all lines on a specific level, then display its current level and its linear total distance.
In this video, run a report on DGN Elements, specifically a parcel boundary, and place a report onto our sheet.
thanks a lot for your explanation and shared links :-)

It's a big shame that fast functional solution was removed and replaced by so amateurs, slow and overall dysfunctional solution (it's not even calendar) :-(
My experience is that the most of my customer stopped to check the calendar for planned events (because they just do not understand, how it works and the reaction is so slow), and also have huge problems accessing recorded sessions (no way to find anything quickly).
Have you an idea how simple and fast is to find both scheduled and recorded sessions e.g. for Autodesk or ESRI software?

The problem with Advisor is that it's badly designed, slowing down MicroStation, piece of software with many bugs (when some from them were even marked as WAD), probably designed by somebody who never was in engineering practice. No benefits visible for users, not communicated/promoted, plus crucial functionality missing.
So even when it could by potentially used to search web(s), the first thing that users often do, is to uninstall Advisor or at least change its configuration to be not loaded.
Thanks for your comprehensive response.

So where is Generating Advanced Reports?

I asked the question on behalf of others who had posted in the MicroStation Forum and received replies with that no longer worked.
You're not responsible for web site design so this is not a personal criticism: I endorse Jan's comments about the poor quality of the search tools and other material on the Bentley web site. Web sites should be simple to use, intuitive, speedy and useful. Bentley's web site is none of those. Pass the message on!

Hi Jon, I don't think this course is available anymore, Courses do sometimes get removed and updated to keep them current or because the content is already covered in a newer similar course.
