I am trying to watch the Bentley Learn Videos at home on a mac... Does anyone know if this is possible? I have installed Flip for Mac and VLC but I still can not see the video. I don't get any errors... The video just doesn't start.
Does it now work on a Mac? I'm thinking to switch to Mac and would like to know if the on demand and video tutorials will work on it.
thanks
wolfgang
We are actively working on video support for other OS, e.g., IOS, Android, etc. Look for an announcement before the start of this summer.
Thanks,
Matt
Thank You. I did go ahead and get a software tha allows me to go to Win XP on my mac. I wish that both companies would work together also. I have this software just for 2 things. The rest of my work I can do on the mac just fine. Thanks Again.
We have a few macs in the office that xp on them, if you have a dual boot or can run windows in a window it should work fine. The problem with mac os, is internet explorer stopped at ie 5.5 (pretty old). If the videos were in windows media 6.4 format they would be fine. Wish microsoft and apple did not fight as much, it would be nice if stuff worked together better.
The videos on the Bentley LEARN Server will not play on a Macintosh. They require the Windows Media Player ActiveX control in Internet Explorer 6 or later running on Windows XP, Vista, or Win 7.
