It is a very powerful tool. In some cases the users will make this their default application for DGN & DWG. Senior managers are encouraged to use it, so they do not screw up the data.

It is IMPORTANT to the users to have this and we need a CE version, more so for ACAD 2018+ support

Where could one find documentation for older versions of Bentley software? For example, i'm looking for the ReadMe file for Microstation v8i SS4 but docs.bentley.com only shows the Connect edition software in the dropdowns.

Any information is greatly appreciated.

I am looking for some suggestions about refreshing a development PW environment from production. I am familiar with performing DB restores and data store copies, but we have a few additional requirements.

We wish to maintain the user and group security with the development environment Restoring the full DB would overwrite any security that exists in the development environment. We need to maintain the development security configuration to allow developers, testers and others appropriate accesses to the various projects whey would otherwise not have access to in production.

Has anyone attempted to restore only a subset of data from production into a development environment? Our production environment is very large and we may not always want to restore the full set of production data to development. We would like the ability to specify an individual or set of folders and/or projects to copy/restore in development and ensure that the DB and file store data maintain synchronization in development.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
