We do this with shapes and text.

To do this today, we add a reference of our dgn and the plotting rules will only look at yellow elements to give us our two different rules for one shape.

Is there a better way to do this? If we didn't have to add the reference we could plot in 1/3 the time, which is significant when we have hundreds of drawings that need to be plotted.

I'm open to any ideas!

Microstation PowerDraft v8i command window

Microstation won't use the command window style key-in unless I select the user config every time the program is opened.
Also, is it possible to display grid dots instead of lines?

Microstation PowerDraft v8i Grid dots

Is it possible to show grid dots instead of lines in Microstation PowerDraft v8i? I've heard that the grid shows dots in a 2d drawing and lines in 3d and it is also my understanding that PowerDraft has no 3d capabilities.

Is there a setting to change the grid display back to bold dots?
