ORD CE 2021 R2 Version 10.10.21.04

I've set up a file to cut a cross section at an entrance on my roadway project. When cutting the cross section I noticed the 3D graphics from the entrance (a civil cell referenced from another file) weren't appearing. Turns out the Default model was referenced to my x-sec file, but the Default-3D model didn't follow. The Default-3D isn't listed in the references for the 3D view while it IS listed in the Default list. Further experimenting I detached the geometry file of the entrance only to find that the Default-3d model didn't detach. Pic below: Default view on left, Default 3D on right.

How can I stop these models from attaching and detaching independently? The entrance and geometry files reference normally to other files (both Default and Default-3D models attach). I've used this exact workflow before without incident. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Proposed Terrain Creation - Remove Null Points from Graphical Filter

Hello All. Running 2021 R2. I've modified a KYTC template for my project. The template uses "switch points" to control whether the end condition and sholder is displayed (for use at intersections, entrances, etc.). My corridor is set up and I used the KYTC presets in the Graphical Filter to create a propsed surface from the corridor. The problem I'm having is that the graphical filter included the switch points (null points) in the triangulation. How can I get rid of these points in the proposed surface? I've included screenshots below:

When trying to import into inroads SS2 the coordinates and elevations are way off. I tried to import in SS4 using the "Create From File" civil terrain tool. This will bring the data in correctly coordinate and elevation wise, but I am unable to filter out trees, buildings, etc (iso lidar with trees.jpeg). Finally, I've imported using point cloud tools and ended up with the same mess as when I imported from SS2 (iso point cloud and plan point cloud jpegs). These files work fine for the client who uses ArcGIS. They also provided .lasx and .lasd files. Am I missing something? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

After examining the points in each template, the affected points are no longer a part of these unwanted components. A screenshot of the transition is attached. However, The points in the component aren't being drawn in the order that I want. Going down the corridor sometimes it looks right, but other times it looks like this:

What do I need to do to keep the component from attaching to the existing surface? Is there a way to force the points to be drawn in a certain order? Also you'll note the upper right point control seems to be ignored. This is Inroads SS2 version 8.11.07.615. This project is 4 miles long so there are many templates that I'll need to modify. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
