Hevacomp User Migration to OpenBuildings Energy Simulator (Update 7)

Hi. Are there any other Hevacomp Mechanical Designer users currently learning to use OpenBuildings Energy Simulator (Update 7)?
I am new to it myself and would be interested to know how you are getting on with the functionality of the Energy Simulator platform for modelling and steady state calculations.

How do you feel it compares with Hevacomp Mechanical Designer DDB?

Adding NCM Construction Databases (standard library / inference) to Hevacomp Materials & Glazing Database

I have been using other building modelling software that make use of the standard NCM Construction Databases for library / inference.

Are there any plans for the NCM Construction Databases to be added to the Hevacomp Materials & Glazing Database?

Incorporating more than one wall type in a section of external wall using DDB

On typical single storey warehouse buildings where blockwork cavity walls are often used for the lower section of external wall, and either single-skin or double-skin metal sheeting is used above the blockwork walls up to the roof line, how can this be modelled using DDB?

Would it be possible to add a sub-surface to an external wall in the same way as a window or door?

Update to Hevacomp PartL for SBEM 5.3.a

My scheme provider for EPCs (Elmhurst), informs me that from the 20th February 2017 it will no longer be possible to lodge Non Domestic EPCs using SBEM 4.1.e, 5.2.d or 5.2.g in any UK region. Only EPCs created using the new SBEM 5.3.a will be accepted by the Central Registers.
SBEM 5.3.a was released on 21st November 2016, so please can you advise when Hevacomp PartL will be updated to produce non-domestic EPCs using the latest version?
