I have developed different load combinations for both, ASD and LRFD. Under load conditions, I have assigned "Design-Steel" and "Service" for ASD combinations and "Design" for LRFD combinations. When checking for base plate and anchors, I notice none of the LRFD load combinations are accounted for. Please advise; provide documentation if possible. I also have the following questions:

1- Do I need all three types (Design-Steel, Service, Design) to design steel with ASD and anchors?

2 - What is the difference between "Design-Steel and Service"? Do I need both for ASD steel design only?

3- How is the Design (Hot-rolled ASD or LRFD) and load conditions type (3 mentioned) interact? Do they need to match (Hot-rolled ASD with Design-steel & Service or Hot-rolled LRFD with Design)?

I have exhausted resources (e.g.: manual, web) trying to understand the differences between them.

Thanks!

RAM Elements - Assigning Gusset Connection to Chevron Bracing

On a pipe bridge, a gusset CVR connection is to be applied to a Beam-Brace connection. When assigning a gusset bp connection in RAM Elements, the model would not allow for a two-brace, gusset bp connection. Any thoughts?
