  • RE: AutoPlant OPIM symbol scale - Is it a way to have a global scale for all ISO symbols?

    Frank Pluim

    Yes, this is possible. In the latest SELECT releases (08.11.09.564 and 08.11.09.470) you can use the new "user overrides" facility. There is a Wiki entry on this (please search for overrides.txt): Create a file named overrides.txt in your style config…

    Hello Maggie,

    To add classes use single Pipe/vertical only. See below Expression you could try.

    RULE

    INCLUDE = IE_TYPE=CT_ELBOW|CT_FITTING_TEE

    LEVELNAME = Fittings

    Note - Levelname has not space in it.

    Hope this helps. Please let us know

    For those with problems to read the chm files, try copying the file to a local disc, right click on it, select properties, and in the bottom of the form, clic on unprotect. That worked for me.

    Hello Sudheer,

    OpenPlant Software is not an updated version of PSDS, we can say it is a newer generation software which support PSDS model to be run in OpenPlant Modeler using Migration and customization. Similarly Using PDS model, it can be taken in…

    OpenPlant can be run without ProjectWise, yes. In our migration to OP I ran a number of projects like this, without any major issues. Currently most of our projects are hosted by ProjectWise, but do not use a repository. This works well as it gives…

    Gary,

    If you are using Microsoft Access to modify the .dbf (Foxpro) file it will update and the changes will be stored in the original .dbf file. It creates a new at_proj.accdb file and then links the dbf tables into it but those tables are updated…

    This is a limitation of ISOGEN. It uses ITEM-CODE to link the top (drawing) section of the PCF to the bottom (BOM) section. If there is a difference, it will append the _1 to the ITEM-CODE. Try customizing it similar to the rating field explained in the…

    Hi Jeremy,

    There are three types of schemas in OPPID which are located in different places.

    1. Application Schemas: These schemas are located in the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Bentley\PowerPID (SELECTseries 5)\PowerPID\schemas.

    2. Workspace Schemas…
