Is it possible to change the components of an already created cell when placing it in a drawing/model? We know that it is possible to alter the xyz scales of a cell but then it stretches the whole object. Eg. we would like to have a single streetlight cell where you could select the height of the light pole, the diameter/radius of the light pole and the length of the light arm when placing the cell. So instead of having 10 different cells for streetlighting with different height light poles we could have just one cell where we could change the size of the components. Can this be done with PowerCivil?

Many thanks in advance!

We are using PowerCivil for Finland V8i (SELECTseries3) and were wondering if it is possible to have three different appearances/visual styles for one cell? Eg. a tree cell which in 2D would show as a 2D tree symbol, a more simple 3D object for the model and a more realistic look for 3D visualisations. Can this be done with just one cell by using levels to control which visual style is active? Or could using ”Design stages” help? If could then how? Or can you think of any other solutions?

We know how to flatten a 3D cell to a 2D, but in this case we'd like the 2D symbol to be a "standard" tree symbol and not to look like a flattened 3D cell.

Many thanks in advance!
