Recently I’ve made a Civil Cell for a speed bump, but I noticed something odd after I used ‘Create Civil Cell’. In the Explorer the Civil cell will show up, but unfortunately not the ‘Optional References’ that are part of it.

Although I used Optional References when making the cell and they seem to work fine when placing the civil cell, they are missing from the Explorer drop down menu. This lacks the option to give the Optional References proper names. Therefore users of the civil cell will not know which elements should be selected, nor in which order they should be selected in.

(For further information, when you expand the ‘References’ drop down, under a civil cell in the explorer, the option is shown to ‘Rename’ references. As a result, that rename is shown when you place the civil cell. Therefore, when placing the civil cells everyone will know which elements to select (e.g. the baseline, side geometry, etc.).

Am I missing something? Or does this work as intended?

Thanks in advance for everyone’s help!

Kind regards,

Currently i'm running into a problem regarding the function 'Synchronize from Library' on a template in my corridor,

I didn't change anything in the template design. After using synchronizing, geometry that I added separately of the corridor (and snapped on geometry generated by the corridor), will jump its snappoints to another location.

It seems to still snap on the same horizontal geometry, but on another station in the corridor.

(In the example below there is a linear template on the geometry i've drawn separately).

Before:

After:

I noticed that the problem will not occur when using 'Edit template drop'. (But for me this is not a solution, because I have multiple templates in one corridor and want to change them all in one edit).

Does anyone know why this is happening? Is it working as intended and am I doing something wrong? Or is this a bug?

- Using OpenRoads Designer CE - 2022 Releas 1 Update 11 (Version 10.11.00.115) -

I'm trying to use the Thematic Display: Aquaplaning (with Slope % enabled) to show a visual analysis of cross slopes. The settings are like in the image below. I basically want all slopes >1% to show blue and slopes <1% red

However, in the 3D view it shows slopes larger than 1% as blue which should be red. Image:

Whenever I change the settings from 0% - 1% = blue, to 0% - 0,5% = blue. The 3D view shows the slopes to a maximum of 1% (see image).

Is this a bug, or is there a setting to make the display style a bit more accurate? [Corridor interval is set to 0,25m]

Kind regards,
