Automatic Line Labels for Bearing and Distance in Connect

I have PowerSurvey 08.11.09.878.

In this software I have a Feature set up for a lot line that will draw the line with the label for bearing on top and distance on the bottom automatically when the line is placed.

I cannot figure out how to do this in Connect 10.10.21.04. Is this possible to do in Connect?

I want to place a lot line and label it as I go.

I have an old PowerSurvey license v008.11.09.878. I am working on Windows 10 OS Build 19044.1766. PowerSurvey is working well. I am looking for a new laptop. Will PowerSurvey work on a Windows 11 machine?

How do I change the point name increment in OpenRoads? Instead of 5000, 5000_1, 5000_2 I would like to see 5000, 5001, 5002 Similar to what how Geopak picked points with COGO.

wms not working in PowerSurvey

I was wondering if there was a change in MicroStation or a Microsoft update that affected the wms attachments? I can no longer view the wms imagery from any source.

Hello,

I have been using PowerSurvey v08.11.08.878 for a few years. I place the survey lines as features. The line will automatically label the line with bearing on top and distance below the line. This is used to show the bearing and distance on the plat.

I am moving to Bentley GEOPAK Civil Engineering Suite SS10 v08.11.09.916. Is there a way to label a lot line as I place the feature like in PowerSurvey?

How does MicroStation OpenRoads and Connect versions define the foot? With the new datums coming out in 2022 the international foot (1 iFt = 0.3048 m) will be the standard. The label 'Imperial' on the seed files is misleading because the US doesn't use the Imperial Yard in that was created in England. I don't fully understand the imperial units and am looking for clarification.

How do I create points along a linear feature?

I am extracting linear features from LiDAR pod files. I am able to create the by 'Add Graphic Linear Feature' and store that line the in the Field Book, but I need to create points along at the vertices. Is possible?

After the points are created I want to export them to a csv file.

Selecting a different alignment?

I have been having issues selecting a different alignment in an OpenRoads file. When I first enter a drawing I can activate Civil Accudraw and use 'o' to select the alignment I want to use for Station and Offset information. In some file I have more than 1 alignment and need to choose the second alignment to get the correct Stationing. I thought all I had to do is press 'o' again while using Civil Accudraw to select a different alignment, but I have never gotten that to work.

Are there any videos that can show me how to do this and the basics of Civil Accudraw?

Pulling information from ProjectWise to automatically populate an OpenRoads Report.

I would like to populate information from ProjectWise into an OpenRoads Report. The data is already created in fields of the PW project folder.

I have very little programming training, but I think this will work if I can point the report in the right direction. I asked this in another Forum, but I thought you folks might be able to help.

I am working in Version 08.11.09.838

I am trying to customize the SurveyPointsCompleteTable.xsl in OpenRoads. How can I pull information from ProjectWise to automatically populate in a custom xsl?

Where can I find instructions as to how the headers are formatted so I can create new sections in this report?
