I received a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and Master and Doctorate degrees in Structural Engineering from the University of Toronto.
I have over twenty years professional experience in bridge and building structural engineering. I am a Fellow of ACI and ASCE. I am a member of TRB Committee AFF30 – Concrete Bridges, PCI’s Bridge and Bridge Producers committees, Chair of the PCI LRFD subcommittee, PTI’s committee on Bridges, and ACI Committees 343 – Bridge Design and 365 – Service Life Prediction. I was past chairman of the National Concrete Bridge Council.
I am a registered Structural Engineer in the State of Illinois, and registered Professional Engineer in the State of Wisconsin.
