Is this by design? Is there a a way to display the dimensions as they are shown by the Dynamic Cross Section - Place Horizontal Temporary dimension tool? I'm using a linear annotation in the annotation group that targets the segment of the template. Also is there a way to set all the dimensions at the same elevation for all segments?

The example shown in a previous question (https://communities.bentley.com/products/road___site_design/f/geopak-inroads-mx-openroads-forum/192142/annotating-cross-sections-in-ord) shows as a result of what i'm

looking to accomplish in terms of accuracy and style, but unfortunately i wasn't able to recreate. Any help would be appreciated!

Quick question, In my previous projects the SS4 tools for creating geometry then exporting to gpk/alg worked the best. Recently, I've been told that it should go the other direction. First create in SS2 then import to SS4.

Just wanted to get your opinions on that. Thanks!

I'm having an issue exporting DGN to Google Earth. I red all the other forums and did what others said as using the Geographic Coordinate System. I'm choosing the correct GCS but the line work doesn't come up in the exact place. It is usually shifted to the left 20-30ft.

I found a solution by using placemarks, but since I work in Road projects I have to place a lot of placemarks and it is time consuming.

The easiest way is just using the GCS from the library. Maybe I'm doing something wrong here.

Anyone out there that can help?

Thanks!

VPN/FTP/Google Drive?
I would like to know if anybody has a better method for sharing files and not loose the link between the references?

Currently, I'm using Google Drive. But when I copy from my local drive into google drive it looses the link between files so I have to reattach files again. I keep updating files on Google Drive and every time I have to reattach the files again even though they have the same name.

Can anyone tell me a better way like using VPN or FTP?

Thanks in advance!
