All of these content will be created using generic seed file of Microstation SS4 and will be saved as a .dgn.

I have seen the AECOsim SS6 content incompatibility issues with AECOsim connect versions. The family/parts naming and the levels naming convention is completely different when I compare AECOsim SS6 to AECOsim Connect version(now OpenBuildings)

I'm unable to get my hands on Microstation Connect version at the moment. Could you please advise

1. if SS4 content is fit to use across all versions of upcoming Microstation/AECOsim releases OR Should the ss4 content be restricted to be used for SS4 and best way to move forward and migrate to Connect series is to create new versions of content within Connect series/3D environments?

2. If it is fit to be used, then are there any specific steps/cautionary measures to be taken to make these SS4 content compatible with the latest Microstation/Openbuildings software versions?

Please advise the best way to move forward.

LumenRT Grass rendering issue - please help

For some reason, the color of the grass has turned to a lime yellow!
I am trying to rotate the coordinate system plotted on a polyline using ByDistanceAlongCurve. For some reason, the cyan axis(Z axis) is not pointing in the right direction.

In this case, the cyan axis should be pointing where the green axis is point to.. I am unsure how to make this work. Any building content which I try to map it to this node, picks up the orientation of the X,Y and Z node which comes up as incorrect orientation.

I’m currently trying to map/add data to the models placed using GC nodes.

I have two questions:

1. Is this possible? putting together the nodes to read data from ExcelRange?

2. Or is it best to add these once the model is exported to design file using the ‘export’ node in GC, following which the data can be filled in using traditional AECOsim Building Designer datagroup editor?

At the moment, with the building content nodes, the compound cells have been mapped and placed using coordinate systems. But I’m not sure how to make GC read the spreadsheet text value and add it to the compound cells attributes/parameters so that they are reflected on the datagroup explorer, once the model is exported from GC.

For example: I want to add ‘Discipline’ parameter and fill in ‘Drainage Rail’ as the data.Similarly, ‘Material’ as ‘Precast-Concrete’.

I’m not sure how to move forward. Please advise.
