Recently, I use the ORD U 4 to do a modeling project, and find several bugs.

AccuSnap function:

ORD usually gets dead when AccuSnap function is activated, for example, when creating a corridor and select the position, the cursor will automatically snaps the nearest element which is a reference file and including a lot of line elements, and if snap point is not what I want, I have to move cursor, but sometimes, ORD get dead when moving cursor over the reference element.

Linear Template tool:

If the model that is created by Linear Template tool need to be deleted, once click the delete button, ORD gets dead, and stop working dialog appears.

Besides, the key station can not be applied in the model that is created by Linear Template tool.

3D line style:

Everything is OK in MSTN Update 10, when copy the *.RSC file to its designated path of ORD, the 3D line style show nothing, but the 3D line style name can be seen in the line style selection dialog.

Exporting model to LumenRT Update 10

The Exporting model can not be done always successfully , sometimes, the 3D line Style element gets lost. before re-exporting, I have to zoom in the model close enough, and adjust view windows scale until the details(3D linestyle) can be seen, then the exporting could be done successfully, but I have to adjust view window many times, and do the exporting many times.

Hope you guys can checks these bugs above, and fix ASAP.

Looking forward to your reply!

Thanks

my goal is to assign Items to Feature Definitions in DGNLib which are uploaded from Asset management.xlsm file. So in that case later when I create corridor I can set item properties from pick lists with connection to ...Lookup.xlsx. Everything works fine in DGNLib but in every other file which loads Feature Definitions from library it crashes at moment of creating corridor (assigning Item). I know it's still Technology preview but maybe someone have a solution. Maybe there is some variable which loads Asset Management.xlsm? I have knowledge only about variable for Lookup which, of course, I am using.

since new update of ORD I encountered plenty of problems when using display rules or adding templates to corridor with new components. Every time I get an error with message Exception logged to:...

I have a strange problem that since R2 update Cut&Fill meshes don't show volumes anymore. And no matter what I do, whichever model I take I do not have the volumes! Recreating meshes doesn't solve this as well as Close mesh voids tool (processed 10 times). I am 100% sure that in 10.05. and in 10.06 it worked properly along with closing voids manually. I checked it on different PCs and different models so I am pretty sure it's an update thing. What I need is a confirmation from someone if it occurs somewhere else also in R2?

Can anyone confirm that?

I have a very distressing problem concerning sight visibility lines. I attached report where we can see that despite requiring 70m of sight distance the program shows some strange values in column "Sight Distance Along Sight Line Achieved" and these lines are being drawn in model. I have no clue out of where these values are taken but it's a big problem since they are smaller than the required ones. It's completely unreliable.
there is an ORD's problem which I cannot solve for a very long time and since I did not get any response from Bentley on my SR the Communties is my last chance. I implemented ORD in quite a big project (12km of expressway) so we have plenty of road models. Most of them after reproccessing the corridor leave old elements. Sometimes these are lines, sometimes mesh components and sometimes everything. It's very annoying because I cannot find the reason for this and almost everytime it's something different. I thought that maybe clipping elements mess with corridor functionality (they do but in a different way), but after few tests I have excluded them as a reason of doubling corridor elements. Our team is terribly frustrated of losing precious time because most of the times the only solution is to make a new clean, file, which will be infected after few weeks or even days.

Is there anyone who had similar issues or knows something about this defect? I would be grateful for any reponse.
